The 3 people who were swept by an unexpected gush of water at the Tinubdan Falls in Catmon, Cebu were found.
The body of Kent Jude Monterola, 17, was found in sewage in Sitio Kansija, Barangay Flores, Catmon, 14 kilometers away from where he was swimming along with others.
He was found at 9:58 p.m. Sunday, September 26, almost 10 hours after they have swept away.
The Tinubdan Falls incident happened around 1 p.m. Sunday in Barangay Tabili, Catmon.
Princess Alastra, 7, was found dead around 11:30 a.m. Monday, September 27, in Sitio Kulo, Barangay Duyan, Catmon.
As of 12:30 p.m. Monday, rescuers were still looking for Princess’s mother, Jacel Alastra, 32, of Barangay Kalangahan, Tuburan.
Sep 28, 2021, at around 2:00 am, the least missing body which happened to be the mother of Princess was found. According to Councilor Dan Jusay, the deceased was the body of Jasel Alastra which was found at the sea near Carmen.
Councilor Jusay also added that the said Falls is no longer allowed to be reopened as per Brgy. Catmon officials.
